Women are leaving the church in record numbers because of church hurt, unsafe church leadership, lack of accountability, ministry burn-out, and more experiences with toxic church culture.  Christian women, we need to speak out, not just about physical safety, but emotional and spiritual safety as well. When Christian women decide to have those hard conversations with honesty, wisdom, and discernment - we can make the Church a safe place for everyone. Are thinking, "That sounds good, but I can't see how I can make a difference?" I hear you.


I believe with my whole heart that women are especially equipped to fight for the underdogs, even when that's us. We see, we hear, and we feel differently. We are not weak. We walk in the footsteps of Esther, Deborah, Jael, Mary, Ruth, Abigail, and so many others. Jesus valued women and their place in His Kingdom in radically counter-cultural ways. Let's rally our shepherding instincts to protect the people God has placed in our circles of influence.
